Sub: Review of charges for booking of special coaches/Saloons/T ourist
Cars and special trains at full tariff rate.

Instructions regarding charging of special coaches/Saloons/Tourist
Cars and special trains at full tariff rates vide Board’s letters referred above
have been reviewed and the following has been decided:

1. Service charge: Service charge of 30% shail be levied on the base fare. In
case of booking on FTR by IRCTC, service charge shall be 25%.

2. Empty Haulage charge: Empty haulage charge will be levied at actual
distance of the empty haul at. 100% of Full Tariff Rate (FTR) for the carrying
capacity of the coaches subject to minimum haul for 200 Kms. ETR will be
calculated at fare including reservation charge but excluding service charge.

3. Detention Charges: Detention Charges will be levied for detention of
special train/coaches/saloons/tourist cars at the starting, intermediate or
destination stations at the rate of Rs.900/- per hour or part of an hour per
coach uniformly for BG, MG and NG systems subject to the minimum charge
of Rs. 1500/- per coach per day without giving any free time. . .

4. Other terms and conditions mentioned in C.C No.18 of 2007, C.C No. 01 of

2010 and C.C. No 09 of 2011 will remain unchanged. ,

5. This instruction will come into effect w.e.f 25.12.2013.

6. The above shall not be applicable-on FTR bookings for which journey have
already been started before 25.12.2013.
