Please refer to this office letter of even number dated 29.06.2012 (Commercial Circular No.43 of 2012) and its amendment dated 04.07.2012 on the subject quoted above, wherein Zonal Railways were informed regarding opening of Tatkal booking at 1000 hours instead of 0800 hours with effect from 10.07.2012, Formal/informal queries were being raised by some Zonal Railways regarding management of queues on this account. The matter has been examined in this office and it has been decided that the common counters and common queues should be provided for Tatkal and non-Tatkal tickets.
