Sub: Amendment in Tatkal Scheme.

It has been decided that with effect from 10.07.2012 booking of
Tatkal tickets will start at 1000 hours on the previous day of journey from
train originating station instead of 0800 hours at present.
2. No authorised agents, including agents of IRCTC and RTSAs/RTAs
will be allowed to book Tatkal tickets from 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs. The
existing restriction of not allowing these agents booking of general tickets
on the opening day from 08:00 hrs to 10:00 hours will also continue.
3. Wide publicity may be given through all available means for
information of general public to avoid inconvenience to them.

यह विनिश्चय किया गया है कि 10.07.2012 से तत्काल टिकटों की बुकिंग गाड़ी के प्रारंभिक
स्टेशन से यात्रा से एक दिन पहले 08:00 बजे की बजाय 10:00 बजे शुरू की जाएगी।
2. आईआरसीटीसी और आरटीएसएए्स/आरटीएएस के एजेंटों सहित किसी भी प्राधिकृत एजेंट को
10:00 बजे से 12:00 बजे तक तत्काल टिकटों को बुक करने को अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। इन एजेंटों
को हर दिन 08:00 बजे से 10:00 बजे तक सामान्य टिकटों को बुक करने की अनुमति न देने का भी
मौजूदा प्रतिबंध लागू रहेगा।
3... सभी उपलब्ध साधनों से आम जनता के सूचनार्थ व्यापक प्रचार किया जाए ताकि उन्हें असुविधा
न हो।
