Please refer para (vii) of instructions contained in Commercial Circular
No. 61 of 2011 circulated vide this office letter of even number dated 18.11.2011
on the subject quoted above.
2.
It is clarified that the details of proof of Identity for one or more
paSsengerscan be furnished/captured for booking Tatkal tickets only at the time of
booking of the ticket(s) both through PRS as well as through Internet. Once the
Tatkal ticket has been booked, details of additional Identity Cards shall not be
captured subsequently.
3.
Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned. ~
