my docuanents/commmercial publicity on ... | GOVERNMENT OF INDIA -) MINISTY OF RAILWAYS के (RAILWAY BOARD) NO.2000/TG-IV/39/17/CRWR New Delhi dated24-10-2000 The General Managers Ail Indian Railways (Commercial Circular No.48) Sub: Commercial Publicity on interior and exterior of coaches In order to enhance the earnings from Commercial Publicity, Ministry of Railways have decided to issue following guidelines for Commercial Publicity on trains: The coaching trains can be classified into four type of trains- (a) . Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains -(b) . Long distance Mail and Express trains (c) . Passenger trains (é) Suburban trains; . The following guidelines are issued for display of advertisements inside Rajdhani/Shatabdi & other-non suburban passenger carrying trains : Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains The location sizes and mounting arrangement of publicity panels permitted in different . types of coaches will be in accordance with the guidelines enclosed as Annexure-I, Mail/Express and PRssenger trains: The location. sizes and mounting arrangement of publicity panels permitted under different types of coaches will be in accordance with the guidelines enclosed as Annexure I. : we Suburban trains All interior or exterior canbe permitted including fall train for EMUs and DMUs. ~68- # ॥ . ० 2४ vont % foe ¥ "4 GENERAL GUIDELINES |... - (i) The advertisements will be displayed at prescribed locations-on. boards of ofyee diy cae s-Phesqribed size in the form of aesthetic scenaries , paintings and pictures of (ii) ee 1 eset. &) ४) (vi) (vii). (viii) rays historic/contextual relevance to the train and the advertisers message will be contained on the bottom strip of 100mm/50mm as shown in the sketches. Advertisement ‘panels' will ‘be provided ‘inside picture frame of prescribed design. No advertisement. will be pasted or. painted-directly on the coach The panels will bé'protécted from ‘ouiside by clear Perspex sheet of 3mm - thickness’ mounted on the frame which will need to be replaced by the advertiser on advice of the depot. Day to day upkeep of the boards including mounting/dismouriting or repairs during the period of contract will 06 résponsibility of the advertiser coordinated through the coaching depot. The date of expiry of advertisements will be clearly indicated in the area provided for advertisers message on each picture - Coca ef In case of any coach remaining under damage for more than 15 days for. any accidental or preventive maintenance reserves, the depot will ensure shifting of the advertisement board to the replacement coach. In case any fresh Boards are required, the same will be supplied by the advertisers on demand from the coaching depot. On expiry of the advertisement, the advertiser’ message will be hidden by a white strip by the coaching depot . ae ae Coaching depots will be the nodal point for implementing the contract with Chief Depot Officer.
