Sub: Discount on Haulage Charge for movement of container traffic
Ref: (i) Rates Circular No.20 of 2018 and its corrigendum dated 14.11.2018
(ii)Corrigendum No.14 to Rates Circular No.20 of 2018
In terms of Corrigendum No.14 to Rates Circular No.20 of 2018, 15% discount on extant Haulage
Charge per TEU for movement of empty containers and empty flat wagons is valid till 31.07.2022.
The matter has been reviewed and competent authority has decided to reduce the discount from
15% to 10% on extant Haulage Charge per TEU for movement of empty containers and empty flat
wagons w.e.f.01.08.2022 for a period of three months i.e. upto 31.10.2022.
This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of
Finance Directorate (vide efile no.3274852) of Ministry of Railways.
