Please refer to Board's circular under reference regarding Debit/Credit Scheme of 
Demurrage. 
The matter has been reviewed it has been decided to discontinue the Debit/Credit scheme 
of Demurrage for goods traffic dealt at all kinds of freight terminals e.g. goods sheds, private 
sidings, PFTs, EOL terminals etc, w.e.f. 01.10.2022. 
This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the 
concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
