Corrigendum No.56 of Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0 '+fmf 'ITT:cfiR GOVERNMENT OF INDIA ~~MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (m-.niRAILWAY BOARD) No.TC-l/2020/302/efile (3333729/3324255) New Delhi, dt.13.06.2024 General Manager All Zonal Railways Sub: Charging of Bulk Cement (Cement in loose form) when transported in normal containers Ref: (i) Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0 and subsequent amendments (ii) Rates Circular No.20 of 2018 and subsequent amendments As per extant guidelines, Bulk Cement (Cement in loose form) is a notified commodity for transportation in containers. Accordingly, this commodity when loaded in normal containers is being charged at Container Class Rate (CCR). However, Bulk Cement when transported in Tank Containers, is charged at Haulage charge per TEU basis as per Corrigendum No.13 to Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-l--lub&Spoke/2015/0. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided that Bulk Cement (Cement in loose form) when transported in normal containers, will be charged at Special Haulage Rate, as per the following: 1. The Special Haulage Charge per TEU for weight slabs 'more than 26T and upto 31 T" and 'more than 31 T' will be as per the table attached as Annexure to this circular. 11. There will be no change in the charging of Bulk Cement in tank container and the same will continue to be governed as per Corrigendum No.13 to Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR- Hub&Spoke/2015/0 mentioned above. iii. The provision stipulating charging at Haulage Charge per TEU in case of notified commodities loaded in 50 TEUs or less than 50 TEUs in a container rake will continue to be applicable for Bulk Cement transported in normal containers also. Accordingly, Bulk Cement when loaded in 50 TEUs or less in normal container rake will be charged at Haulage Charge per TEU as stipulated in Rates Circular No.20 of2018 and as amended from time to time. iv. All other details of the policy guidelines under reference will continue to apply unchanged. These instructions will come into force w.e.f.24.06.2024 for a period of one year i.e. upto 23.06.2025.
