Sub: De-notification of “Stainless Steel in Coil form” from Notified Commodity Group Ref: Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0 and its Corrigenda/ Addendum In terms of extant guidelines, ‘Container Class Rate(CCR)’ is levied for movement of Notified Commodity, and ‘Haulage Charge per TEU’ is levied for movement of all other commodities in containers in privately owned wagons, Group of Notified Commodities are prescribed vide Para 1.2.1 of Chapter-I] of Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0. Certain commodities have been excluded from this group from time to time. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to exclude “Stainless Steel in Coil form” from the Notified Commodity group as listed below. The afore-said commodity will now be charged at ‘Haulage Charge per TEU’ basis, instead of ‘Container Class Rate(CCR)’. Commodity excluded from the Notified Commodi Grou [IRON OR STEEL Stainless Steel in Coil form These instructions shall come into force w.e.f. 16.12.2024 and will be valid for a period of one year i.e. upto 15.12.2025 with quarterly review. Zonal Railways will furnish the quarterly report indicating the impact of this policy intervention on this traffic.
