भारत सरकार GOVERNMENT OF INDIA रेल मंत्रालय MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (रेलवे बोर्ड RAILWAY BOARD) No. TC-I/2020/302/efile(3333729/3442429) New Delhi, dated. 18.07.2024 CAO/FOIS GM/CRIS Chanakyapuri Chanakyapuri New Delhi New Delhi Sub: Transportation Product: Mini Rake (Containers) Refi(i)Corrigendum No.53 & 55 to Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0 (ii) Dy.CPM ICMS mail dated 25.06.2024 regarding charging of BLC rake as mini rake, In terms of Board’s circulars under reference, policy guidelines were issued for running of Mini Rakes of Container. Instances have been reported that charging for mini rake is not being done as per the policy guidelines. The issues raised have been examined and following clarification in the matter is being issued: a) Policy guidelines may be implemented in letter and spirit and only after fulfillment of terms and conditions stipulated therein. b) Customer should be given option to select Mini Rake composition while registering indent. c) Necessary provision may be made to ensure that actual number of wagons physically placed for loading is not less than 25 wagons. Further, maximum number of wagons supply should be less than the minimum composition of the rake notified. If the rake consists of wagons corresponding to minimum composition or more, the normal charging will be done. d) Since the Mini Rake will run on the routes approved by the concerned Zonal Railway, FOIS system should incorporate the routes notified by Zonal Railways for operation of mini rake scheme. e) Supplementary charge on such Mini Rake should be levied only after fulfillment of terms and conditions for Mini Rake. f) Charging of full container rake (minimum composition/standard composition) will continue to be done as per extant instructions.
