Board's letter No. 2009ffGIV/I0IPAlWC/781P0licy dated 26.08.2009 (Commercial Circular No. 38 of 2009) 2. Board's letter No. 2010ffGIV/I0/Std Committee dated 17.09.2010 3. Board's letter No. 2009ffGIV/I0IPAlWC/781P0licy dated 27.09.2010 (Commercial Circular No. 47 of 2009) Railways have been advised to provide 'Battery Operated Vehicles for disabled and old age passengers at railway stations through commercial publicity route vide instructions referred to above. Board has reviewed the matter and decided that in addition to disabled & old age passengers, "Sick Passengers" may also be considered for availing this facility. The impact of including the sick passengers would be reviewed after six months, on the basis of feedback to be sent by the zonal railways.
