Sub: Amendment in Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak (JTBS Scheme).
“Please refer to para 2 of Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak (JTBS)
Scheme circulated vide this office letter no. 9007/TG-I20/JTBS dated 24.01.2008
(Commercial Circular No. 8 of 2008).
1.1 The matter has been examined and it has been decided to amend the above
_ para of JTBS Scheme as under:- ः
Reservations: - Following Reservations will be applicable for 49.5% of the total
number of JTBSs on divisional basis:-.
In each category 10%
> Scheduled Castes -12% . . b f
> Other backward Classes -20% nck ai 8 ‘dow d
>. Minorities * 9.5% me uding war wi san
> Total 49 ; widows of Railway employees
and 10% reservation will be
for physically challenged
persons.
* The term minorities will include the communities namely (i) Muslims, (i)
Christians (iii) Sikhs, (iv) Buddhists, (v) Zoroastrians (Parsis).
{2 Apart from the above, 10% reservation for disabled persons (physically
challenged persons) will be applicable in the general category also.
