Sub: Display of reservation charts,
As per extant instructions issued vide Board’s letter
No.97/TG.1/20/P dated 3.11.97 (copy enclosed), reservation charts should
be displayed at the main entrance of the station and/at the platform from
which the trains are scheduled to leave at least 2 hours ‘before the
departure of.the train. Instances have, however, come to the notice of the
Ministry of Railways that at tnany locations, the reservation charts are
being prepared very late and consequently displayed on the required
places just before the departure of the train.
Ministry of Railways, therefore, desire that the instructions referred
to above should be reiterated to all concerned and monitored at the
appropriate level, regularly. Any lapse on this account should be viewed
seriously. .. |

मंत्रालय के ध्यान में ऐसे मामले आए हैं कि जहुत से स्थानों पर आरक्षण चार्ट बहुत देर से
बनाए जाते हैं तथा इसके परिणामस्वरूप गाड़ी के प्रस्थान से थोड़े समय पहले ही अपेक्षित
स्थानों पर लगाए जाते हैं :
अतः रेल मंत्रालय चाहता है कि उपर्युक्त अनुदेश ade feer को पुनः दोहराएं जाएं
तथा इसे उपयुक्त स्तर पर नियमित स्तर पर नियमित रूप से मॉनीटर किया जाएं. ge
कारण से छुई किसी भी 'पूक को गंभीरता से लिया जाएगा

| Sub: Display of reservation charts.
_ During the course of the meeting of NRUCC taken by MR on
1.8.97 in Rail Bhavan, Shri Suresh Prasad Akhori, Member/NRUCC had
oy pointed’ out that “at Patna Station, reservation charts are not
displayed even 10 minutes before the departure of trains.” MR took
serious view of this lapse and directed that charts should be
displayed at least half an hour before the departure of the train.
2. Instructions have been issued from time to time to the Zonal
Railways stressing the need for legible and: timely display of
reservation charts at the stations.
3, Para 626 of the Indian Railway Commercial Manual, VoLI also
stipulates that the reservation charts ‘should be displayed at the
main entrance of the station and/or at the platform from which the
—trains are scheduled td leave;-atleast two—hours before the due
departure of the train.
4. These instructions may be reiterated to all concerned for strict
compliance
