Sub:Cash Incentive to the ticket checking staff for
good performance.

The Cash Incentive Scheme for the good work done by the ticket checking staff was
extended upto 31.03.2009 vide this office letter No. 2006/TG-V/1036/1 dated 22.05.2008 on the
terms and conditions as stipulated in Board’s Commercial Circular No. 20/2004. It has been decided
to extend the scheme further for 3 months from Aril, 09 to June, 09 with the following modified terms
and conditions:

2(iii): | The minimum criteria for qualifying for incentive scheme will be Rs.30,000/- on
account of penalty earnings and a minimum of 150 cases. Out of these cases, 50
cases should be of ticketless travel

2. The other terms and conditions of Incentive Scheme as stipulated in Commercial Circular
. No.20/2004 will remain same

3. Further extension of the scheme will be communicated after a review.

4. - It is desired that the performance of the Cash Incentive Scheme indicating the Number of

ticket checking staff given incentive, amount of incentive paid, quantum of cases detected and
amount of penalty collected may be furnished w.e.f. April, 09 regularly.

5. The expenditure accrued on this account will be debited under Head “Demand No.9, Abstract
Minor Head 500, Detailed Head 530”

6. _ This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
