Magistrate & Police Official (not below the rank of S I ) proceeding to Accident spot on duty.
Other Government Officials, when their Journey in Connection with Railway working.

Working of Motor Trolley
There are four methods of working Motor Trolleys:-
As a Train
Following a Train
Following a Motor Trolley
Placed in Midsection.

As a Train
Get permission from SCOR & Suspend B I working, Exchange Numbered message.
Single Line: Remove shunt key at both ends.
Double Line: SM who grants L C keep BI TOL position.
Obtain L C from other end SM.
Both S/L & D/L - Prepare PLCT.
Place Motor Trolley caps on B Is & red Ink entries in TSR.

OIC responsible to clear Section in specified time.
On arrival OIC H/O PLCT to SM and SM shall
Cancel PLCT & return to OIC,
Exchange numbered message & insert Shunt key on S/L
O H from TOL to Line Closed on Double Lines.
Resume normal working.

MOTOR TROLLEY FOLLOWING A TRAIN
Any number of Motor Trolleys can follow a Train provided,
i) The Motor Trolley should follow train only during DAY/Clear Weather.
ii) Train provided with fully Air Braked.
