SM shall ensure that no Train is occupying or ready to enter the adjacent line before permitting the last Train mentioned in the LB order.

DRM will consider :- The Traffic in Section Ensure detention to Trains are minimum & then Permit work. <!-- Slide number: 5 --> Once permitted, SM shall, Write LB order message on top of TSR in red ink till the work commences. Remove shunt key at both ends. Place Line Block Collars on Block Instruments. Advise LB order to other end SM & to Engineering Official with acknowledgement. <!-- Slide number: 6 --> If LTC asked, Train mentioned in LB order stopped out of course and, To Guard: LTC issued in duplicate, addressed to NONE. One copy to Engineering Official at work spot and acknowledge copy to other end SM. To LP: Caution order issued to stop at WS & Other Station. LP to stop Train on getting HD signal at work spot. <!-- Slide number: 7 --> # LAST TRAIN CERTIFICATE The Line between -------------- Station and --------- Station will be blocked for engineering Purpose from ---hrs after train No., clears section until ---hrs on ----date. Station: Date: Signature of SM <!-- Slide number: 8 --> H/O one copy of LTC to Eng Offl, hand over acknowledgement to other end SM. If Guard lost LTC, he shall declare that. Eng Offl issue a written memo to DRM, stating that LB commenced as per the LB order. If Eng Offl not available at work spot both copies handed over to other end SM. <!-- Slide number: 9 --> Trains Permitted Traffic Trains – shall not be allowed in any circumstance Departmental Trains: Any number of depart Trains, auth in writing by Eng Offl can be started from either end. Authority: T/A 602 Before starting, SM to suspend B I Working . Exchange numbered message with other end SM. If permitted, entries in TSR made in Red ink. Till extended time Trains not permitted. If even after permitted time, NO Extension or Removal advise received, A Traffic Train waiting can be started with Normal Authority + Caution Order. LP shall proceed cautiously throughout the entire Section. <!-- Slide number: 13 --> Removal After LB completed, immediately advised to SM in writing. After removal advise received from Engineering Official, SM to ensure, All departmental Trains entered Section, cleared Section at any end. Exchange numbered message to that effect& LB removal message also in TSR. Reinsert Shunt key & Resume normal working. <!-- Slide number: 14 --> Line Block on Double Line When both lines to be obstructed, SM shall ensure that no Train is occupying or ready to enter the adjacent line before permitting the last Train mentioned in the LB order.
