For granting Line Clear, On Double Line: Line must be Clear upto FSS+ Adequate Distance. <!-- Slide number: 8 --> On Single Line:- No Trains running towards Station to which Line Clear given. Line must be Clear upto FSS+ Adequate Distance. The Adequate Distance is 180 metres in Multiple Aspect Signalling. At a time, only one Train is permitted in the Block Section. <!-- Slide number: 9 --> # One train only system in use where Traffic is light on branch lines with one end as terminus. In SWR, the system in vogue between Rayadurg-Kadiridearapalli, Ginigera-Chikkabenakal Bagalkot-Khajjidoni section. Under Approved special instructions trains may be worked even without signals. <!-- Slide number: 10 --> Essentials Where trains are worked on the “One Train Only System” only one Train shall be in the section, where this system is in force, at one and the same time. <!-- Slide number: 11 --> Authority to Proceed A metal Token bearing the inscription “ONE TRAIN ONLY” and the section to which it applies. SM has to keep this ATP in a box and lock it always. Non-availability of the metal token in the box indicates that the section is occupied by a Train. <!-- Slide number: 12 --> # ONE TRAIN ONLY METAL TOKEN  <!-- Slide number: 13 -->  <!-- Slide number: 14 --> On loss of metal token or damaged badly, an emergency metal token introduced duly informing TI, and DRM and make entry in station Diary. DRM to arrange duplicate Metal Token and Send it through TI. In case of accident, Train to be protected on the side of base station and then necessary action to be taken by advising the base station. Guard responsible for the Train until the section cleared. <!-- Slide number: 15 --> Procedure in case of accident or disablement If a train becomes disabled and requires assistance or if an accident occurs train shall be protected as per rule 6.03 in the direction of base station. Guard shall convey message with all particulars to SM and if necessary he proceed to such station duly advising LP in writing to keep train stationary until return. SM who receives message from guard shall communicate information to base station SM. <!-- Slide number: 16 --> On receipt of information base Station SM may allow another engine to enter line. Engine shall be accompanied by guard of disabled train, who explain to LP about location of disabled train or LP shall be given a written authority containing such information. Guard of disabled train responsible for safe and proper working of train until disabled train moved.
