Ref: Coaching Directorate/ Railway Board's messages No. Parcel/2021/09/17 (corrected) dated 07.09.2021. ने ने RR RK In reference to above, it has been decided to use spare/ idle ICF make AC 2-tier and 3-tier coaches for transportation of Parcel traffic, as Indented Parcel trains and time-tabled Parcel Special trains, either as full train comprising of AC coaches or in mixed composition (comprising of Parcel Vans, GS coaches, AC coaches, etc.) 2. Freight charges: Consignments booked in AC coaches shall be charged '@1.5 times of P-Scale' applicable for above mentioned Parcel trains. 3. Other charges like Development Charge, Goods and Service Tax, etc, as applicable, shall continue to be levied separately. 4. No concession or rebate, if applicable for Indented Parcel trains/ time-tabled Parcel Special trains, shall be admissible for such coaches. 5. Maximum payload permitted to be carried in these coaches shall be as per Railway Board's messages under reference. 6. 706 minimum composition of trains comprising of AC coaches—shall_be—as———— The minimum composition of trai prescribed for GS coaches (when being used for transportation of Parcels), vide Railway Board's letter No. 2020/TC(FM)/20/20-Pt.1 dated 17.12.2020. 7.
