Preparation of second reservation charts for trains upto 15 minutes before the departure of the train, the system shall

Managing Director, CRIS Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Sub: Preparation of second reservation charts for trains. As per extant guidelines first reservation chart is prepared automatically by the system 4 hours before the scheduled departure of train if not already done by zonal Railways. Second reservation chart is prepared by the Railways between 30 minutes and 5 minutes before the departure of the train. If second reservation chart is not prepared by zonal railways up to 5 minutes before the departure of the train, the system automatically finalizes these charts. Keeping in view the feedback received from zonal Railways, the matter has been reviewed and it has been decided that second reservation chart may be prepared upto 15 minutes before the departure of the train by zonal Railways. If the second reservation chart is not prepared by zonal Railways upto 15 minutes before the departure of the train, the system shall automatically finalize these charts. CRIS will make necessary modifications in the system accordingly under intimation to all zonal Railways as well as this office.
