(Commercial Circular No.76/2002) Sub: Procurement of modified SP'TMs as an integral part of Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) 1. Ministry of Railways have decided that no Railway should procure SPTM based on existing specification, This is totally banned. All SPTMs which are required | io be procured should be with modified specifications, which are enclosed herewith in Annexure A. All modified SPTMs should be connected to Zonal Servers. The UTS server wilh work as Zonal Server for this purpose. The UTS Server has already been procured for Northern Railway. On Central Railway, the Alpha Server which has been procured for STREAM (MST/QST application) should be connected to ‘newly: procured modified SPTMs, , द् ' | ही an : p fi . * if 4 n the modifiec! SP£Ms, the fare updation should be dene from remote location i.e. Zonal Server only.
