Sub: Frauds in case of Manual Refunds
(Corrigendum to Commercial Circular No.51 of 2000.)
Please refer to Commercial Circular No.51 of 2000. issued vide
Board’s letter of even number dated 13.9.2000 wherein it has been
advised that in all such cases where refund is not permissible across
the counter, abbreviation “NRFD® should appear in the message
column and the authority to travel should come under the column
“Ticket No.” The abbreviation of word “NRFD” should be explained in
the bottom of the chart.
The matter has been reviewed and it thas been decided that
instead of abbreviation “NRFD’, the abbreviation “NRF” should be
used. The full form of the abbreviation “NRF”, i.e. ‘No refund across
the counter’ should be. explained in. the bottom of chart. | All
concerned may be advised accordingly.
