(Commercial Circular No 53of 2003.) ह Sub: Installation of Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) Please refer to this office letter of even number dated 22.1.2001, - (Commercial Circular No. 3 of 2001) wherein detailed guidelines were issued to zonal railways for installation of Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs). In para Ilof these guidelines, it was advised that initially ATMs shall be permitted on ‘A’ class stations only., _ The matter has been reviewed in this office and ‘it has been decided that ‘to proliferate installation of ATMs, the condition of installation of ATMs at “A” class station may be waived and now Zonal Railways are authorised to take a decision to install ATMs at stations other than “A” class stations also.
