Please refer to this office letter of even No. dated 13.9.1999 on the subject quoted above wherein a list’ of 32 trains in which Utilisation of Tatkal coaches was less than 40% were enclosed with instructions to withdraw Tatkal coaches from these trains. The matter has been further considered in the Ministry of Railways and it has been decided that the railway will keep a watch on the utilisation of Tatkal Coaches and withdraw this facility depending upon the demand.
