Sub: Withdrawal of Tatkal Coach

Please refer to this office letter of even number dated 31-05-2000 .
on the subject quoted above wherein it has been advised that the

railway will keep a watch on the utilisation of Tatkal coaches and
withdraw this facility depending upon the demand. However, it has
been observed from the utilisation figures bemg received from Zonal

- Railways that some Railways are still continuing with Tatkal scheme —

on some trains where the utilisation ts poor

Ministry of Railway desire that the Tatkal scheme should be
withdrawn from those trains where the utilisation is poor-te¢, less than
$0% on an average in six months period
