An analysis of the utilization of Tatkal Coaches running on various trains’
on Zonal Railway for the period April to June, 1999, shows that the utilisation .
‘in 32 trains is less than 40%. A list of these trains is‘enclosed; | ©
_; . The. matter has been considered in. the Ministry of Railways (Railway —
Board) and it has been decided that Tatkal Coaches ,from these trains may be
.. withdrawn with immediate. effect. In case, there is waiting-list. in the normal -—
trains ‘service coaches in any of these trains, the ‘Tatkal Coach may. be made a
~ + ~ part of the normal traiti composition in these trains. - .
