(COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO.45 OF 2003) Sub: Cash Incentive to the ticket checking staff for good performance, Ref: Board’s letter No. 2001/TG-V/1036/1 dated 27.9. 20013 an 2002/TG-V/LO36/1 dated 24.4.2003. wm eet ar oy ak ०2 43, न चिक, The incentive scheme for recognising the good work done by the ticket checking staff who give outstanding performance by showing earnings of more than Rs.20,000/- on account of penalty and un-booked Juggage cases in a month was introduced with ihe concurrence of Finance Directorate of Railway Board for a period of one year with effect from March, 1993 on an experimental basis and later on extended upto March, 2003. 2... The matter has been reconsidered in detail and the consolidated revised instructions — for the ticket checking staff to be automatically entitled to the cash incentive on achievine the minimum fixed amount on monthly basis are as under.- (3) The cash incentive will be granted in respect of earnings on account of ः penalty cases only. Gi) The earnings from penalty cases will include the fare, penalty and unbooked luggage and shall not include the other segments of earings like availing higher class ete. (ii) The minimum criteria for qualifying for incentive scheme will be Rs.30,000/- on account of penalty earnings and a minimum of 150 nenalty cases, Out of these 150 cases, a minimum of 75 cases should be of ticketless travel. Gv) For Rajdhani/A.k. Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi Express trains, ne weightage of earnings will be given to other than the ticket checking stall manning these tains. (vw) The rotaimium criteria for qualifying for incentive Scheme for the tekst checking staff manning Rajdhani/A.K. Rajdhani/Shatabdi Nan Shatabdi Express trains will be Rs.50,000/- irrespective of the number of cases. iI. ee De oe (vi) The amount of incentive will be 5% of the earings from penalty cases. (vii) The CTl-incharge responsible for scrutinizing the EFT retums will certuly “that the staff in question has achieved the above fixed level and also ensure correct bifurcation of ticketless & irregular travel, He will further ensure that the number of cases/earnings from Rajdhani/ A.B. Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi Express trains is not included in cases of ticket checking staff working in other than Rajdhanv/A.K. Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi Express trains. He will also ensure that the manning staff fulfill the minimum criteria for Rajdhani/A.K. Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi Express trains. 3, ‘The expenditure accrued on this account will be debited under Head “Demand No.9, Abstract Minor Head $00, Detailed head 530” 4, Keeping in view the excellent results achieved on account of the Incentive Scherne, Board has decided to extend the scheme for a further period of one year 1.6. upto 31.3.2004 on the terms and conditions detailed above. 5.
