(Commercial Circular No. 39/2019) Sub: Delegation of powers to Zonal Railways for operation of .Coin- _ operated Weighing Machines at Railway Stations - reg Please refer to Board’s letter no.2007/TG-IV/10/Weighing Machines dated 17.02.2010 (CC no. 09/2010) stipulating the terms and conditions for operation of Coin-operated Weighing Machines at Railway Stations through tender process. The matter regarding review of Weighing Machine policy has been under consideration of the Board for quite some time the same has been reviewed It has, now, been decided to authorise Zonal Railways (General Manager) to ° frame their own policy guidelines for awarding the contract for operation of Coin- operated Personal Weighing Machines at Railway Stations based on their local conditions after obtaining concurrence of their Associate Finance.
