Sub: Installation of ATMs at Railway station.
Please refer to this office letter no. 98/TG-1/10/P/ATM dated 22.01.2001 (CC
no, 3/2001) stipulating the terms and conditions for installation of ATMs through
tender process.
With a view to proliferate the scheme, Competent Authority has decided as
under:
1. Para 1॥ of the instructions contained in CC no. 3 of 2001 stands modified and
shall read as under:
“In addition to reputed banks (Nationalised Banks), all Scheduled Banks (notified
by RBI) may also be permitted to participate in the tenders invited for installation
‘of ATM’s in Railway Station premises. Third party i.e. the authorised
agencies/individual{s) who has/have been given power of attorney by the
respective bank for this purpose can also be allowed to participate in tender
process on behalf of Bank(s). However, the agreement shall be signed only
between the Zonal Railways and the concerned bank.”
