TCII/2'704/2009/ Policy New Delhi dated /8 .06.2018 The General Manager (Comml.) All Zonal Railways. Sub: Revalidation of Photo identity cards of Accredited Press . Correspondents. Ref: i. Commercial Circular No.36 of 2009 ii, Commercial Circular No 20 & 53 of 2011 iii. Commercial Circular No 54 of 2013 and iv. Commercial Circular No 56 of 2016. In continuation to above instructions it has been decided that the validity of photo identity cards issued by railways to Accredited Press Correspondents shall be co-terminous with the validity certificate issued by Press Information Bureau/ Other competent state & local authorities. 2. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned immediately including PRS/UTS immediately and compliance ensured. 3. Wide publicity through various media may be given. Zonal Railways are advised to intimate the concerned accreditation certificate issuing Agencies within their jurisdiction regarding the revalidation procedure. ab.
