Please find enclosed a copy af instructions issued by Establishment
Eyrectorate vide letier No. ECW Y0G7PS-5-3/36 dated 74.65.2011 on the subject
quoted above for mformation and necessary action.
2. CRIS will make necessary modification im the sofiware and advise the date
of effect to all Zonal Railways as well] as this office.
3. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned.

Refi Railway Board's letter No.2OW)89/PS $§-6/13 Voli dated
13,G8, £989 and letter of even mimber dated 16.06.2010.
In terms of Railway Board's letter No.ECW}S9/PS 5-G/13 VoLi dated 31.08.1989
freedom fighters/their widows receiving pension from Cenival revenues under the
“Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme” of the Government of India, are issued
Complimentary Card passes on life time basis for free radi travel over all Indian
Railways {except Metro Railway/Kolkata) in I Class/ 2” AC alongwith one
companion in same class by any train other than Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains.
_ 2 The validity of aforesaid Complimentary Card passes issued to freedom
' fighters/their widows was extended for travelling by 3% AC in Rajdhani trains and
Chair Car (CC} of Shatatidi/Jan Shatabdi tains alongwith one companion in samme class
besides the existing entitlements, in terms of Railway Board's letter of even number’
dated 16.06.2010 referred to above. oo
3 The demand of the freedom fighters to permit them rail travel by 27 AC in
Rajdhani trains on the Complimentary Card passes issued te them had been under
consideration of this Ministry, thas now been decided in consultation with Ministry of
Home Affairs to let the freedom fighters/their widows wavel by 2° AC in Raidhani
trains alongwith one companion in same class on the Complimentary Card passes
provided to them, Accordingly, the 1 Class/ 2° AC Complimentary Card passes
issued to freedom f
