CC No.3 of2001, CC No.-67 of 2006, CC No. 43 of 2009, CC No. 16 of2012, CC No. 39 of 2012 & CC No. 51 of2012 Detailed policy guideline for installation of Automated Teller Machines (ATM) has been issued vide CC No.3 of2001, and subsequent guidelines were issued vide CC No.-67 of 2006, CC No. 43 of 2009, CC No. 16 of 2012, CC No. 39 of 2012 & CC No. 51 of 2012. Accordingly, ATM tenders have been awarded by Zonal Railways (ZRs) and earnings from this activity are being accounted for under sub head Z-610 and detailed head Z-618. However, the figure of earnings of Railway Board Accounts and ZR's NFR MCDOs do not match. In interest of correct accountals, it has been decided by the Board that, henceforth, the ATM subject matter shall be dealt with by NFR Dte. and the earnings from ATMs shall be accounted for under "Z-600- Miscellaneous and sub-head 610-Advertisement fees and Non Fare Revenue activities with detailed head Z-618- Various NFR Unclassified Revenue from Advertisement fees". Divisional/Zonal accounts offices may account for ATM earnings accordingly. 2. Zonal Railways may make efforts to award more ATM contracts to enhance NFR earnings. All issues pertaining to ATM policy, henceforth, shall be dealt with by NFR Dte. 3.
