Detailed policy guideline for installation of Automated Teller Machines (ATM) has been issued vide
CC No.3
of2001,
and subsequent guidelines were issued vide CC No.-67 of 2006, CC No. 43 of
2009, CC No. 16 of 2012, CC No. 39 of 2012 & CC No. 51 of 2012. Accordingly,
ATM tenders
have been awarded by Zonal Railways (ZRs) and earnings from this activity are being accounted
for under sub head Z-610 and detailed head Z-618. However, the figure of earnings of Railway
Board Accounts and ZR's NFR MCDOs do not match. In interest of correct accountals, it has been
decided by the Board that, henceforth, the ATM subject matter shall be dealt with by NFR Dte.

and sub-head

fees". Divisional/Zonal
accounts offices may account
for ATM earnings accordingly.
2.
Zonal Railways may make efforts to award more ATM contracts to enhance NFR earnings.
All issues pertaining to ATM policy, henceforth, shall be dealt with by NFR Dte.

This issues with the approval of Member (O&BD) and concurrence of Accounts & Finance
