Government of India(Bharat Sarkar) Ministry of Railways(Rail Mantralaya) (Railway Board) No.2000/T: G.V20/PiTatkal New Delhi, Dated:27.03.2000 The General Managers(Commercial), All Zonal Railways. : (Commercial Circular No. 12 of 2000 ) Sub: Introduction of temporary Tatkal Scheme during summer months. tteran A proposal has been received from Southern Railway wherein it has. been requested to the Board that in the regular trains which are being. ‘ augmented by attaching additional coaches during summer Period, their Railway should be permitted to book one of the additional coaches in Tatkal Scheme and the remaining additional coaches should be made available for the general public. The request has been considered by the Board and it has been decided that in the trains which are being augmented on the Railways by attaching additional coaches during the summer Period, one of the additional coach should be earmarked as Tatkal coach subject to a maximum of one Tatkal ; Coach per class per train. In those trains where Tatkal coach in a particular Copy to: 1. 2. class already exists, additional coach in the same class cannot be earmarked - as Tatkal Coach.
