Sub: Issue of tickets through ATM of Banks.

Please refer to this office letter of even number dated 27.8.2002
(Commercial Circular No. 73 of 2002) on the subject quoted above
wherein instructions were issued to zonal railways for introducing of
facility of issuing of MST/QST through ATM of Banks as has been done
by Central Railway. A draft statement of joint procedure order and
agreement between banks and railway for issuing of MST/QST was also
enclosed along with instructions referred to above. In para 11 of the copy
of the draft agreement for dispensing of MST/QST, it was advised that
banks, in consultation with the railways, will levy the transaction based
service charge @ Rs. 30/- per ticket to ATM/Smart Card holders for
buying tickets through Bank’s ATM.

The mater has been reviewed in this office and it has been decided
that the banks may levy upto following transaction based service charge

for issuing of various kinds of tickets through ATMs i+ . दा
Unreserved Ticket Rs. 5/-
Monthly Season Ticket (MST) Rs. 10/-
Quarterly Season Ticket (QST Rs. 12/-
Reserved Ticket Rs. 15/-
