In terms of Railway Board’s letter No. E(GP)2024/2/37 (3477173) dated 12.12.2025, selection for promotion from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ for filling up 04 (Four) vacancies of ACM/NR against 30% quota vacancies (LDCE) for the assessment period 01.01.2025 — 31.12.2026 will be held through Centralized Computer Based Test (CBT). The reservation bifurcation of the vacancies is appendec below:- SC = 01 ST = Nil UR ve = 03 Total = 04] | No post is reserved for PwBD candidates. ELIGIBILITY 2. All Group ‘C’ Commercial employees (including Ministerial Staff) working in the Commercial Department of Nerthern Railway and holding posts in the Grade minimum of which is Pay Band Rs. 9300 — 34800/-. Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Level - 6 as per 7" CPC) or in higher Group °C’ Grades with 05 years Non-Fortuitous service in the Grade as on 01.01.2025 i.e, the crucial date of eligibility, are eligible to appear in the above Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). It is made clear that no adhoc service will be counted for computing the eligibility as on 01.01.2025 for the purpose of above selection. Cad In terms of instructions contained in PS No. 8208, such candidates who fulfil the requisite conditions of eligibility i.e, 05 (five) years Non-Fortuitous service as on 01.01.2025 including Apprenticeship/training period in Pay Band Rs. 9300 — 34800/-, Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Level - 6 as per 7" CPC) and above are also eligible to appear in the above LDCE selection. Further, instructions contained in PS No. 13466/08 may also be taken into consideration for determining the eligibility of employees. These instructions pertain only to reckoning cligibility for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts. RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS G.
