Ref: i) Railway Board’s letter No. E(GP)2024/2/28 dated 27.09.2024. ii) Railway Board’s letter No. E(GP)2024/2/09 dated 14.10.2024. iii) Railway Board’s letter No. E(GP)2024/2/37 (3477173) dated 12.12.2025. In reference to Railway Board’s letters mentioned above, it is proposed to hold selection through Centralized Computer Based Test (CBT) by RRB, Ajmer for promotion from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ service for the post of Assistant Operations Manager, Scale Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs.4800/- (Level- 8 as per 7" CPC) as per selection procedure and policy guidelines issued by Railway Board & RRB, Ajmer from time to time. The particulars of total number of 02 (Two) vacancies assessed for the period from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2026 (including anticipated vacancies upto 30.06.2027) in TT&C (Operating) Department for selection LDCE-30% are indicated below along with reserved vacancies. Assessment Year 2025-2026 ur | sc sr LDCE (30%) o | 00 | 00 | 1 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (AS ON 01.01.2025) 1.1 The Group ‘C’ staff of Operating Department (excluding Ministerial staff) working/holding lien on North Western Railway who have put in a minimum 5 years of non-fortuitous regular service in Pay Band Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- (Level- 6) and above as on 01.01.2025 are eligible for the selection against 30% quota of vacancies of AOM in terms of Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2019/2/25 dated 27.12.2019 (RBE No. 216/2019). Further in terms of Railway Board’s letter No. E(GP)2005/2/87 dated 25.04.2011 and 18.08.2015 (RBE No. 92/2015), the running staff of Operating Department working in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- with grade pay Rs. 2800/- as per 6" Pay Commission with minimum five years of non-fortuitous service in the grade as on 01.01.2025 are eligible to appear for the said selection (LDCE). In reckoning the period of service, the length of non-fortuitous service rendered in the corresponding pre-revised scales should be taken into account. 1.2 Those staff who have been provided Grade Pay 4200/- or above in PB-2 (9300-34800) as per 6" Pay Commission/- (Level- 6 and above as per 7" CPC) under ACP/MACP are not eligible to volunteer for the above written examination. 1.3. Those Railway employees who have come on own request transfer/mutual transfer and joined NW Railway after the cut off date 1.6. 01.01.2025 will not be eligible to appear in this selection. 1.4 The staff who satisfy the conditions of eligibility mentioned above and are desirous of appearing for the Group ‘B’ post of AOM should submit their applications through HRMS. 1.5 In terms of Railway Board’s letter dated 18.01.1993 time spent by the railway servant under training immediately before appointment to service will be counted as service for the purpose of Group ‘B’ selection/LDCE.
