Ref: Railway Board’s letter No. E(GP)2024/2/28 dated 27.09.2024, 14.10.2024 & 22.10.2024. In reference to Railway Board’s letters mentioned above, it is proposed to hold 70% selection for promotion from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ service for the post of Assistant Commercial Manager, Scale Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs.4800/-(Level 8 as per 7" CPC) as per selection procedure and policy guidelines issued by Railway Board & NAIR from time to time. The number of vacancies assessed for the period from 01.01.2025 to 30.06.2027 for Regular -70% selection are indicated below along with reserved vacancies Assessment Year 2025-2026 sc Regular (70%) | 04 01* | 04. 01 Total * 01 vacancy is kept reserved for PwBD candidate. Reservation to PwBDs is applicable for promotion from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ posts as per Board’s letter No. E(GP)2022/2/20 dated 18.08.2022 (RBE No.97/2022), dated 14.11.2022 and other instructions issued by Railway Board from time to time. Functional Classification and Physical Requirement for PwBD candidates for Group Functional Classification Physical Requirements LD-OA/OL, Leprosy Cured, | S, ST, BN, W, SE, MF, C, Acid Attack victims RW, PP, H Functional Classification abbreviations used: LD-OA/OL = Locomotor Disability - One Arm/One Leg, LC=Leprosy Cured, AAV=Acid Attack Victims. Physical Requirements abbreviations used: S=Sitting, ST=Standing, BN=Bending, W=Walking, SE=Seeing, MF=Manipulation by fingers, C=Communication, RW=Reading and Writing, PP=Pulling and pushing, H=Hearing. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation. No benefit of reservation shall be given on the basis of temporary certificate of disability. NOTE- It is also to be noted that the number of vacancies are purely provisional and may also vary as per administrative exigencies. 2 A-1 ELIGIBILITY (AS ON 01.01.2025): A-1.1 The Group ‘C’ staff of Commercial Department working/having lien on North Western Railway who have put in a minimum 3 years of non-fortuitous service in Level-6 and above as on 01.01.2025 in Pay Matrix (including non-fortuitous service rendered in the corresponding pre- revised grade pay) are eligible for the selection against 70% quota vacancies of ACM, as per Recruitment Rules of Transportation (Traffic) and Commercial Department (Group ‘B’ Gazetted). Cut-off date for determining eligibility of the candidates shall be as on 01.01.2025 for the assessment year 2025-2026. In terms of Board’s letter No. E(GP)88/2/54 dated 31.01.1992, Group ‘C’ employees working as Law Assistants/Chief Law Assistants, fulfilling the above service criteria, are also eligible to appear in the said selection (Regular-70%). In reckoning the period of service, the length of non-fortuitous service rendered in the corresponding pre-revised scales should be taken into account. A-1.2 In terms of Railway Board’s letter No.E(GP)2024/2/28 dated 08.10.2024 (RBE No.93/2024), Note: A-1.3 it has been decided by Board that henceforth, in respect of Selection (70%) to Group ‘B’ posts in all departments, all employees who are eligible and who volunteer for the selection, should be considered without any limitation of number. The Group ‘C’ staff of the Commercial Department, who satisfy the conditions of eligibility mentioned above and are desirous of appearing for the post of Assistant Commercial Manager G
