Field of Eligibility: In terms of Para (ii) of Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2019/2/25 dated 27.12.2019 (RBE No. 216/2019), all SC community Group "C" Non- Ministerial employees of the Operating department holding the post in Level -6 (Rs. 35,400 1,12,400) and above in the pay matrix with five years regular service in level -6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400) and above in the pay matrix on Non- Fortuitous basis as on 01.01.2025 will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Operations/Traffic Manager (AOM/ATM). The non-fortuitous service of five years shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2025. (RBE No. 146/2004 & 203/2008). In terms of Railway Board's letter No.E(GP) 2005/2/87 dated 18.08.2015 (RBE No. 92/2015), the SC community unning staff of Operating Department in Grade Pay Rs 2800 (Level-05) which is equated to the stationary post of Grade Pay Rs.4200 (Level 06) and above, are also eligible to be considered for promotion to Group B service in Operating Department as per extant rules, In terms of Railway Board's letter No.E(GP)2008/2/74 dated 13.03.2008 (RBE No.40/2008), in case of persons transferred on regquest basis to a new unit in the same category of posts, and assigned bottom seniority therein, the service rendered by them in the previous unit may be reckoned for determining their eligibility wherever a minimum length of service is prescribed as a condition, for promotion in the new unit, subject to the condition that the length of service which is so allowed to be counted does not exceed the length of service of their immediate senior in the new unit. The eligibility conditions should have been fulflled as on 01.01.2025, in terms of Para (6)(1)(1) of Master Circular No. 68. Dy.CPO/Gaz, & Wel. 3y Hait/. 3T , Contd...2. 3. Scheme of Selection: Centralized Computer Based Multiple Choice Objective type examination (CBT), Medical examination, Viva-voce and assessment of record of service. a) (i) The written examination (CBT) will be one/single paper of 150 marks comprising 100% Objective type Multiple Choice Questions consisting of 175 questionms, out of which 150 questions are to be attempted. (ü) Al Objective type MCQ will carry equal marks. (iii) There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers and 1/3rd of marks allotted for each question will be deducted from every wrong answer.
