It is proposed to hold selection for promotion to Gr-B' posts of ACM in Level 8 of 
pay matrix in Commercial Department against 30% LDCE quota through the Centralised 
Computer Based Objective Type Examination (CBT) being conducted by RRB/Ajmner in 
terms of Railway Board letter No.E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 28.06.2022 and Railway Board 
letter No.E(GP)2024/2/37(E.No.3477173) dated 03.04.2025. Accordingly, applications are 
hereby invited through HRMS to hold selection as detailed hereunder:

In terms of Para (iü) of Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2019/2/25 dated 27.12.2019 
(RBE No. 216/2019), Group "C" Ministerial/Non-Ministerial employees of the 
Commercial department holding the post in Level -6 (Rs. 35,400 1,12,400) and above 
in the pay matrix with five years regular service in level -6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400) and 
above in the pay matrix on Non- Fortuitous basis as on 01.01.2025 will be eligible to 
apply for the post of Assistant Commercial Manager (ACM). The non-fortuitous service 
of five years shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2025. (RBE No. 146/2004 & 203/2008). 
Chief Law Assistant holding the post in Level-07 with five years of non-fortuitous 
service as on 01.01.2025 are also eligible to apply, in terms of Para 6.3.2 of Master 
Circular No. 68. 
In case of CLAs and the Ministerial staff of Commercial Departments, they shall 
exercise option for promotion in Commercial Department within One Month of their 
empanelment for such promotion and the option once exercised shall be fnal. Once 
they exercise the option for promotion in Commercial Department they are not eligible 
for consideration for promotion as Assistant Personnel Oficer/Law Officer (Authority: 
Railway Board's letter No.E(GP)92/2/ 19, dated:25.03.1992). 
In terms of Railway Board's letter No.E(GP)2008/2/74 dated 13.03.2008 (RBE 
No.40/2008), in case of persons transferred on request basis to a new unit in the same 
category of posts, and assigned bottom seniority therein, the service rendered by them 
in the previous unit may be reckoned for determining their eligibility wherever a 
minimum length of service is prescribed as a condition, for promotion in the new unit, 
subject to the condition that the length of service which is so allowed to be counted 
does not exceed the length of service of their immediate senior in the new unit.

The eligibility conditions should have been fulfilled as on 01.01.2025, in terms of Para 
(6)(1)(1) of Master Circular No. 68. 
3. Scheme of Selection: Centralized Computer Based Multiple Choice Objective type 
examination (CBT), Medical examination, Viva-voce and assessment of record of 
service. 
a) 
) The written examination (CBT) will be one/single paper of 150 marks comprising 
100% Objective type Multiple Choice Questions consisting of 175 questions, out 
of which 150 questions are to be attempted. 
(i) Al Objective type MCQ will carry equal marks. 
(ii) There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers and 1/3rd of marks 
allotted for each question will be deducted from every wrong answer. 
(iv) In terms of Railway Board's letter No.E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 06.09.2022, the
