Ref: (i) Rates Circular No. 32 of 2021 & Corrigenda thereto (ii) Rates Circular No.8 of 2022 (GSR 218(E) at.23.03.2022) 1.0 14 1.2 1.3 14 15 16 al hawan Fina RoodNew BeResno06r a aan Bhawan, Raisina Road New Delhi-110001 The loading of Automobile Traffic in various wagons has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided the following: Designed Tare Weight and Pay Load of Automobile carrying NMG, NMGH, NMGHS, BCACM, BCCNR, BCACBM stock will be as under: Automobile carrying | Designed Tare Wt. | Pay load agons. (nT) nT) BCACM-A [26.30 | 6.8 BCACM-B | 2480 | 6.8 BCACBM-A, [35.86 [15 | BCACBM-B 35.72 [is | NMG 32.00 [927] INMGH 31.00 [ बट INMGHS | 33.00 [ie] IBCCNR: [28.20 | 13.8 Accordingly, PCC of the aforesaid stock when loaded with automobile (e.g. four wheeler/ two-wheeler, tractor etc), will be the Payload mentioned in above table, There will not be any Loading Tolerance in aforesaid stock. Loading in aforesaid stock will be restricted up to the payload of wagons. Payload of the wagons will be used for ascertaining overloading in a wagon. Freight for automobile traffic when loaded in aforesaid stock will be charged at prevailing freight rates, as amended from time to time. However, freight for other than automobile traffic (like Spare parts and other machinery; Lubricating oil like grease etc.) when loaded in aforesaid stock will be charged at prevailing Class rate. For this purpose, PCC of the wagons will be taken as Pay load of the respective wagon as mentioned in Para 1.1 above, subject to the condition that chargeable freight should not be less than the freight of NMG group of wagons. If some wagons of the block rake are loaded with automobile and some with other than automobile, then freight will be charged at prevailing freight rates or the class rate as applicable for trainioad movement. However, both automobile (दी Hu Pape 6 Corrigendum No. 09 to Rates Circular No. 32 of 2021 18 2.0 3.0 traffic as well as other than automobile traffic as mentioned above, will not be permitted in a single wagon. Indent for NMG, NMGH and NMGHS stock will be treated as interchangeable for the purpose of supply of rakes. Customer may indent NMG only and Railway can supply any of the variant of NMG as per the availability All other terms and conditions of Rates Circulars under reference shall remain the same. This shall come into force with effect from 29.10.2024 and shall remain in force till further advice. 4.0. This issues in consultation with Freight Marketing, Mechanical (Coaching) Directorates and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
