Sub: Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) of BOXNHL wagon for loading of steel
coils.
Ref.: Rates Master Circular on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 and corrigendum No. 97
thereto.
1 In terms of Corrigendum No. 97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0,
Permissible Carrying Capacity of various wagons have been notified up to one
decimal place.
2. The same has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided to
revise PCC of BOXNHL and BOXNHL25T wagon over different routes as 64.0
tonnes (for Steel Coils only).
3, __ Accordingly, S.No. 9 & 13 in Annexure-IA (A-Open Wagons) of Corrigendum
No. 97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 shall be revised as under:

4, The above shall be effective from 27.08.2024 and shall remain in operation till
further advice.
5. All other terms and conditions of Rates Master Circular referred above and
Corrigenda thereto shall remain the same. a

6. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation, Mechanical Engineering
