Rates Circular No. 07 of 2025 भारत सरकार GOVERNMENT OF INDIA रेल मंत्रालय MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (tat बोर्ड RAILWAY BOARD) No.TCR/1078/2022/MGR Policy/3386488 Dated :30.04.2025 General Managers, All Indian Railways. Sub: Operation of Merry-Go-Round (MGR) System by Railways-beyond 30.04.2025. Ref: Railway Board’s Rates Circular No.07 of 2016 dated 23.03.2016; Rates Circular No.17 of 2016 dated 20.05.2016 and its corrigendum dated 22.03.2018; Rates Circular No.9 of 2018 dated 26.04.2018; Rates Circular No.18 of 2018 dated 26.10.2018; Rates Circular No.17 of 2021 dated 28.04.2021; Rates Circular No.12 of 2022 dated 28.04.2022; Rates Circular No.08 of 2023 dated 28.04.2023; and Rates Circular No.1] of 2024 dated 25.04.2024. sees 1. Reference above, in terms of Rates Circular No.1! of 2024 dated 25.04.2024, the Operation of Merry-Go-Round (MGR) System by Railways is valid up to 30.04.2025. 2. The matter has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided to extend the validity of the system beyond 30.04.2025 for a further period of one year i.e, up to 30.04.2026. 3. It has also been decided that for the operation of the MGR system beyond 30.04.2025, the current rates shall be enhanced by 5% (five percent). 4. The Zonal Railways where the system is operative should monitor the same with a view to increase traffic. 5. All other terms and conditions stipulated in above referred Rates Circulars shall remain unchanged. 6. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
