1. In terms of Rates Circular No.19 of 2020 dated 05.08.2020 and addenda/

corrigenda thereto, Board had introduced two/multi point destination rake for Automobile
traffic, when loaded in NMG, BCCNR, BCACM or any other similar type of wagons
(other than that loaded in rakes owned by AFTOs, and DBKMs) subject to various terms
and conditions laid down therein.

2. Matter has been reviewed and Board has decided to grant exemption in above
instructions and to allow two point destination rake for Automobile Traffic when loaded
in DBKMs wagons on trial basis subject to extant terms and conditions as laid down.

3. In addition to the conditions already laid down, the chargeable weight for the
minimum of 10 wagons loaded for each destination, shall be the proportional weight for
the actual number of wagons loaded for each destination, based on the total chargeable
weight of 1400 tonnes per DBKM rake (of 32 wagons).

4. Supplementary charge for Two point/Multi point rake shall also be applicable as
notified by Railway Board from time to time.

5. These instructions shall come into force w.e.f. 01.10.2024 and shall remain valid for
a period of six months till 31.03.2025.

6. A report on the impact of these instructions should be provided by the automobile
loading zonal railway.
