Sub: Classification of Quartzite.

Ref: IRCA Goods Tariff No.49, Pt-l (Vol.Il)

1. Sanction of the Competent Authority is hereby accorded to classify and charge
commodity “Quartzite” under main commodity head 3 (a), Page No. 9 in the
Goods Tariff No.49 Part-I (५४०.॥) at Class 150; Packing Condition P2(a); Risk
Rate OR. ,

2. Accordingly, the entry “Quartz (Chips, Stones, Gravel and Powder)” under Group
No. 3(a) shall be replaced with new entry “Quartz/Quartzite (Chips, Stones,
Gravel and Powder)” in the Goods Tariff No.49 Part-I (Vol.ll), as per the
following:
