Please refer to Board's letters under reference regarding Online Goods Balance Sheet and 
e-Cash Remittance Note(e-CR Note). 
The matter has been reviewed and following has been decided» 
1. From 1st March 2023, there will be no manual goods balance sheet and all balance sheets 
for goods traffic should only be electronic. 
2. From 1st March 2023, all CR Notes for goods traffic should be generated through the 
system (TMS/FOIS) and the same should be transmitted electronically(non editable, read 
only) along with relevant documents from FOIS/TMS to TAMS. 
3. In case of Balance Sheet of January'23, TA office will update the closing balance in 
TAMS. This data will become the opening balance for the month ofFebruary'23 in 
FOIS. 
4. No manual balance sheet will be sent for the month of February'23. Balance Sheet will 
be submitted to TAMS by 4th of March'23 invariably along with relevant documents. A 
PDF copy of the balance sheet along with the data and relevant documents will be pushed 
to TAMS on 4th ofMarch'23 if balance sheet is not submitted before the scheduled date. 
5. Internal process should be finalized for old invoices i.e pertaining to month before 
February'2023 and then credit be given with matching window of FOIS/TMS and TAMS. 
This issues in consultation with Accounts directorate of Railway Board.
