Sub: Generation of electronic Cash Remittance Note (e-CR Note) through
System(TMS/FOIS)- Online Goods Balance Sheet
Ref: Board's letter of even number dt.14. 7 .2022
Please refer to Board's letter dt.14.07.2022 under reference wherein it has been
decided that w.e.f.01.08.2022, all CR Notes for Goods Traffic should be generated
through the system(TMS/FOIS) only and be transmitted electronically (non editable
read only) to TAMS/IPAS.
In this regard, Accounts directorate of Railway Board has advised that the main
requirement is sanctity of data, therefore. the data of e-CR may be encrypted to make it
un-editable from front/back end. Encryption process may be shared with IPAS/TAMS
team. The similar process must be adopted for Goods Balance Sheet data also for data
purity purpose.
CRTS/FOTS may make requisite provision in the system.
Action taken may be furnished to Board.
