Please refer to Rule 201(5) of Chapter-II of Goods Tariff Part-I(Vol-I) regarding Wagon
Registration Fee.
Vide Board’s circulars/letter under reference(ii), (iii) & (iv), the Wagon Registration Fee
have been revised for Iron Ore/Pellet, Goods Traffic pertaining to Bangladesh and Wheat traffic
booked for port destinations, respectively.
The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to revise the rate of Wagon
Registration Fee for all other goods traffic by revising existing provisions of Chapter-II of Goods
Tariff Part-I(Vol-I), as given below:

These guidelines will be effective w.e.f. 01.11.2022 for prospective indents.
All other extant guidelines hold good.
This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation directorate and with the concurrence
of Finance directorate of Ministry of Railways.
