Sub: Revision in rate of Wharfage Charge
Ref: Board’s earlier letter of even number dt.8.3.2007 (Rates Circular
No.21 of 2007)
Sanction is accorded to replace the existing Para 4 of Rates Circular No.21 of 2007
by the following:
“4
Wharfage Rates
Wharfage Charge will be levied on per wagon per hour basis uniformly for
all types of wagons, whether 4 wheeler or 8 wheeler or any other type.
Group I
Rs.100/- per wagon per hour or part thereof
Group II
Rs.75/- per wagon per hour or part thereof
Group III
Rs.50/- per wagon per hour or part thereof”
These instructions will come into force w.e.f.1.2.2008.
This is issued with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Ministry of
Railways.
