Vide Board letter under ref-(iii), a list of Proxy locations has been forwarded to CRIS for booking of parcels from Non-PMS stations to PMS locations. (ii) Meeting with AM (Commercial) Railway Board held on 22.10.2024 As discussed during the above referred meeting, a feature in PMS has been developed for booking of Parcels from non-PMS stations (as a Proxy Locations) to PMS locations. A standard operating procedure (SOP) in this regard is attached as Annexure “A You are requested to circulate it for implementation across Indian Railway. Non-PMS Locations have been defined in PMS System by CRIS as per Railway Board letter No. 2024/TC/(FM)/11/11/(e-34792379) dated 06.11.2024. ° 2. Login id will have to be created by Divisional user for staff of Non-PMS Location. Separate ID will have to created for every Non-PMS Location (One supervisor and one booking clerk ID per non PMS location needs to be defined). 3. Non-PMS Location staff will provide their ID/Password to PMS (Proxy) Location over phone. PMS (Proxy) location staff will login in PMS application using credentials (ID, Password, station code) of Non-PMS Location staff. 4. Forwarding note details will be sent by Non-PMS Location to PMS (Proxy) location over phone along with Email id and Mobile Number of consignor and consignee. OR a) Forwarding note may be filled up by the consignor after registering on PMS internet portal https://parcel.indianrail.gov.in and will take a printout of the Forwarding note. b) This printed forwarding note will be verified by parcel clerk at Non-PMS location. c) After verification of this Forwarding note, F/Note no. will be communicated to PMS (Proxy) location over phone and on feeding of this F/Note no. in PMS system, it will display the details of this forwarding note. d) Actual weight/Declared weight will be entered in the PMS system after getting details from the Non-PMS Location. 5. PMS (Proxy)/Non-PMS Location will receive payment through Cash/QR Code/ BOR POS machine. After that Booking will be done and copy of e-PW Bill will be generated at PMS (Proxy) Location.
