Sub: Powers of Acceptance for Works Tenders Ref: (i) Railway Board’s letter No. 2017/CE-I/CT/9 dated 11.09.2017 (ii) Railway Board’s letter No. 2015/CE-I/CT/O/20/1 dated 14.09.2021 In modification to letters under reference, Board has decided to amend the powers for acceptance of Works Tenders, as indicated below:- SN}| Powers for Acceptance of Works Tenders Accepting Authority, For each Tenders For All Works Contracts including EPC Tenders (For each Tender (i) Upto Rs. 50 Lakh Selection Grade/JA Grade/Sr. Scale holding independent charge, subject to stipulation mentioned in letter under reference (i Selection Grade/JA Grade (iii) Above Rs. 4 Crore and upto Rs. 50 | SAG/ADRM Crore (iv) Above Rs. 50 Crore and upto Rs. 100 | DRM/ CWM/ CHOD in SA Grade Crore (v) Above Rs. 50 Crore and upto Rs. 300 | HAG other ~—i than CAO/RE Crore CAO/Construction 2 | For EPC Tenders:- PCEE, PCSTE & CAO/RE in HAG Above Rs. 50 Crore and upto Rs. 1000 Crore For other than EPC Tenders:- Above Rs. 50 Crore and upto Rs. 300 Crore For EPC Tenders:- CAO/Construction in HAG Full Powers For other than EPC Tenders:- Full Powers Full Powers Where no AGM is posted, such tenders shall also be accepted by GM. The Tender Committee for Tenders to be accepted by ‘CHOD in SA Grade’ shall be of SA Grade level. For item no.2 above, a. PCSTE will exercise the powers for tenders related to Signaling, LTE and Kavach only. b. PCEE will exercise the powers for tenders related to Electrification & 2x25kv works only. 2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. 3. Board's letter no. 2015/CE-I/CT/O/20/1 dated 28.05.2024 has been withdrawn. 4 wv ..
