The issue regarding changing the format of existing PRS tickets to take care of the changed requirements over a period of time has been examined in consultation with CRIS and it has been decided to make the following changes in dimensions of the printable area on the front and reverse of PRS ticket (format enclosed) as under:~ (i) The existing area of 15.6 cm x 9,6 cm available on the front side of the ticket will only be used for publishing passenger information. (ii) The advertisement area will be provided at the reverse side of the ticket. (iii)The general instructions being published on the teverse side of the ticket will be revised/abridged (copy enclosed), 3. Zonal Railways will ensure that the fresh indent for reserved ticket rolls will now be placed only with the revised format, CCM/PM of four Zonal Railways i.e. Central, Eastern, Northern & Southern Railways will coordinate with other railways concerned, | served by their PRS and advise CRIS the date of effect from which only the tickets with new format will be printed, 4, Necessary instructions may be issued to al! concerned.
